About
I’m Alex Warofka, a fourth-year student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. At Case, I’m pursuing a BA in economics and minors in finance, Japanese, and Chinese.
When not busy revising for exams, working as a research assistant, or enjoying Cleveland’s notoriously miserable winters, I spend my time traveling. I’ve lived in or visited more than three dozen countries, including many in the developing world. I feel equally at home clubbing in Ibiza, working with an NGO in a Bangladeshi village, or relaxing in my high-rise Hong Kong flat. Since 1 January 2011, I’ve flown more than 85,000 miles.
